Today's episode of "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" was a chapter in the story that was full of emotions, tension and searching for a new direction. Manish clearly told Abhirah that she should divorce Armaan and start a new life. He thinks that this will be the best decision for Abhirah. But, just then, Swarna comes and stops Manish. Swarna explains that no one can force such a big decision in Abhirah's life on her. This decision should be Abhirah's own. On the other hand, Vidya advises Armaan that Abhirah should be given time. Vidya says that this time will help Abhirah think whether their marriage is really worth it or not.
Later, in the park scene, Ruhi is a little surprised to see Daksh smile. Ruhi jokingly says that she knew Daksh would be happy here, because Abhirah had brought her to this park many times. Just then, Ruhi gets a video call from Abhirah. Abhirah says that Daksh has a hospital appointment tomorrow. During the call, Daksh starts making some noises, but Abhira calms her down patiently. After the call ends, Abhira's mind is filled with sorrow for the baby and Armaan again. She starts thinking, should she tell Armaan that she never sent the divorce papers?
Meanwhile, Daksh suddenly starts crying. Ruhi tries to convince him to accept her, but Daksh is happy to see Prajapati. After a while, Abhir comes there. Ruhi thanks Abhir for getting her baby back because of him. At that moment, Ruhi proposes to Abhir to reconnect with their old relationship, and Abhir agrees. They both reminisce about their old days. Ruhi then says that they have enough reasons to move forward, but Abhira's situation is different. Her feelings are completely pure and selfless. Ruhi thinks that Abhira decided to divorce because she did not know the real truth and it is Armaan's fault.
On the other hand, tension increases between Manish and Kaveri. Kaveri makes it clear that she will not give any award to Manish, and Manish also says that if Kaveri gives him an award, he will not accept it. Both Vidya and Madhav try to convince Kaveri to attend the function, as it is a matter of family honour. Swarna also convinces Manish that he should accept the award considering his family.
Let's get back to Armaan. He is currently spending his days waiting for a small hint of forgiveness from Avira. At one point, he gets so frustrated that he dreams that Avira has returned to him. But when the dream suddenly breaks, he falls out of bed. Vidya and Kaveri come and help him. Kaveri tells him that it is not right for him to sit and wait for Avira's call. But then Armaan gets a call from Avira. Avira proposes to meet him the next day. Armaan agrees without a moment's hesitation. He has only one hope in his mind, maybe everything will be fine.
At home, Manish shows Avira a legal notice. The sponsors have filed a case against him for cancelling his concert. Manish also revealed that the notice came from the Padda family's lawyer. Abir then joked that it was surprising that the family's lawyer was now against them. Manish warned that if Sanjay took the case to court, he would make Abir lose.
Vidya then approached Sanjay and requested that the case be given to Charu. Sanjay hesitated a bit, but seeing Vidya's trust, Charu agreed to take the case. Vidya felt that this case would give Charu a big chance to prove her worth.
Finally, Abir and Armaan met. Armaan asked her what she would do to get Abir back in her life. At that time, Kaveri publicly insulted Manish at the award ceremony. A heated exchange took place between the two. Out of anger, Armaan pushed Manish, and the situation worsened. Abir got angry seeing Armaan's behavior. She clearly stated, “I can live without love, but not without respect.” Saying this, Abhira left the ceremony with her family. The pain and disappointment in her eyes were clear.
